I'm all out of Slow Horses and that's sad.

S04 was great and I liked all the new characters, apart from Gaius Baltar of course, but then that is his role in anything he's in, being dislikable.

Agent Smithrond was absolutely fantastic.

I've been so very not-available the last few weeks but @greenpepper22 has been doing a fine job of keeping this Thursday #WatchParty hoppin'! Queued up this week is The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the 1994 Australian road movie about two drag queens and a transgender woman driving a bus across the Outback.

Being the '90s, none of these characters are played by actual drag performers or trans actors. But on the other hand, Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce, and Terrence Stamp are fine actors so it will be interesting to see how well they do. (I've never seen it. Or maybe I saw part of it once. Or maybe I dreamed about someone else watching it. It's all a bit fuzzy.) There's also a Filipina character whose portrayal has been criticized as insensitive.

All that aside, it's got ABBA on the soundtrack!

Party time is 7:00 PM PT today and there are a variety of ways to watch it (free and otherwise) listed on this link. I'm going to try to be there this time, but if I'm not y'all can watch without me.
