I started watching #PatrickMelrose (2018) last night. The first episode was about British upper class #BenedictCumberbatch taking drugs non-stop, while battling childhood trauma. Somewhat amusing, but I have a feeling this is going to get a lot darker soon.

@mock well dark it gets, but not in a fun way. the second episode is all about Patrick's childhood. after #SlowHorses this is the second time I see #HugoWeaving in the role of an abusive authoritarian English father. both times very controlled, almost anemic, relying on menacingly slow speeches and rolled Rs, instead of violent outbreaks.
