Drat, limited work day with the heat building, and I lost most of the cooler morning to shopping for things I need for my project.

At least I was able to *mostly* avoid #HomeDespot, in favour of Rona and CdnTire. Only grudgingly got a bit at HD when other options were limited.

On the one hand this is funny, but on the other hand don't give the asshats any ideas.

It seems that "Home Despot" just gets worse and worse. They were the reason so many hardware stores started drug testing employees, not wanting to get those Home Depot rejected. This has actually been called the "Home Depot effect" and no doubt been responsible for job loss, evictions, and people becoming unhoused.

Home Depot has been linked both to Cop City and to Israel's genocide in Gaza, sparking boycotts. Now I see news that Home Depot cofounder Bernard Marcus gave $25 million to Autism Speaks, a hate groups that targets parents of autistic kids. This is the wellspring from which such horrors as the Judge Rotenburg academy arise. That hellhole is infamous for using electric shock machines to control autistic kids from small children to teens.

Home Despot is really earning the name. Shop there only if you have no choice, and have a true need for hardware that cannot be obtained from Lowes, Ace, or an independent retailer. If people shop there only when they have no choice, Home Depot stock will plunge and these rich criminals will lose their shirts.
