I'd add that dodgy billionaires are also tweaking the output to suit their agendas and exploit populations more. It begs belief that governments or civil services incorporate it at all into their departments. It is such a window to interference.

* Byrne is also author of an authoritative and entertaining book which reveals that music is ultimately shaped by the venues it gets played in and the media form it is played on. For instance, the number of beats per minute can rule out playing a song at certain live venues because the venue's reverberation will make it muddy.

it was like looking at a wyeth painting. i like regional folk music so this film was a treat for me. slow film but it went by quickly ---i was three-quarters of the way through before i needed a short break. the story was similar to brokeback mountain and therefore
kind of predictable but still quite consuming.
could have been more gay but meh, beggars cant be choosers.
