Quite the day in #Winnipeg as Portage & Main officially reopened to pedestrian traffic for the first time since 1979-02-24. Coincidentally, on this date 25 years ago, had my high school grad dinner at the Fairmont, just a few steps away. AND, as I was sitting watching traffic go by for a bit, another of my fellow grads came across the intersection on his bike. We chatted for a few moments.
