What size do people like for hexes? I ran Kingmaker a long time ago, and that had 12 mile hexes, but I’ve also seen 6 miles suggested. What do people find is a good sweet spot for both exploring and later domain management?

Thinking about Blades of the Marsh.

What's your rule for populating your hexmap with landmarks? The sandbox generator generated something for every hex which seems a bit too much. 1 in 6? 2 in 6?

I was working on a map recently and just removed the hexes because they were messing with my mojo. Although it turned out I had no mojo and was in fact just bad at it.
