After the lamb... #HeritageRestaurant moved us into dessert and we really enjoyed our #TastingMenu for the first Michelin starred restaurant in Long Beach, CA.. Impressively sourcing many things from not just local, but Long Beach directly.

It was a fun #birthday with great #wine and #FarmtoTable food

Patience is a virtue...

#HeritageRestaurant made it worthwhile

And waiting for that 18 year old #ClosdeTart #Burgundy #wine in the decanter was worth it. The next two #FarmtoTable courses (Mt Lassen Trout and Grilled Lamb Rack) were ideally paired with this #PinotNoir.

Went for the supplements on the #HeritageRestaurant on the menu...

1st - a "bump" of a California sourced caviar...

2nd - Black truffle shavings in the Endive

The bubbles was a good chaser for the cabiar and went well with the rest of the early courses

That local #BlancdeBlancs went well with the first few #FarmtoTable courses while the wine got some air and opened up ... #PinotNoir of any kind rarely last longer than 5 years for me...
