Unsurprisingly #NigelFarage seems to be seeking news headlines about the #murder of #HenryNovak . Farage is simply trying get headlines to divert people from the #5m he recieved from a #Thai businessman. Instead of helping the stab victim (Henry) the police sided with the murderer, the latter falsly claimed he was the victim of racial abuse.The police allowed Henry to die as they chose to believe the murderer. Rather than riots his family asked for peace

All these things can be true:
- Nigel Farage calling for ‘pure cold rage’ is incitement that has manifested (with support of Musk etc) in these attacks on police in Southampton.
- deaths in police custody are under-reported, under-investigated and rarely/never prosecuted - so should be raised whenever possible - but it’s disproportionately black men.
- what happened to #HenryNovak is both tragic and a double crime, that of his killer and that of the police who ignored his cries of having been stabbed while they handcuffed him.
- false flag claims of racism (or any ism) - are both powerful and difficult to talk about because of the real risk of legitimate claims being dismissed or ignored. But not talking about it gives the far right a vacuum to occupy, as they can frame it as one the few ‘powers’ not available to white men (which obvs is false because ‘classism’ and ‘elitism’ is something they thro at anyone articulate who disagrees with them).
