Chris Spivey (Author)Family movie night is over, and the kiddo is reading before bed. I've got my beer, and it's a good night for a double feature: my umpteen-teen rewatch of #DjangoUnchained and #HatefulEight. Both are easily some of Tarantino's best films.

Actually, one thing about the #HatefulEight is how I was at a loss at who I was supposed to be rooting for.
One of the problems with the overcomplicated story, all the twists, and the generally unlikeable nature of nearly everyone, is that it's not clear who the 'good' characters are. And I'm not sure Tarantino knew either.
It's not until the end that some victors arise and then it's like: these are the heroes ... or something.
