Two years ago, we released the paper I enjoyed researching & writing more than any other.
Several folks don't agree with our conclusions, but I stand by every word.

Anyone in #StAlbans, would be lovely to see you on the 15th November!
It's a tale of 2500 year old gold, ghosthunters, early 20th century forgery... and a talking mongoose!
Please share! Thank you! 😊

In 2019, a gold torc neck-ring was found in Pulborough, Sussex. Thought to be Iron Age, and around 2400 years old, there were suspicions that it just wasn't quite right for this time period. During research on this very special torc, the story that emerged was even more incredible than could have been imagined. Join archaeologist Tess Machling for a roller-coaster journey through a world of archaeological shenanigans, theft, 20th century forgeries - and a famous ghosthunter called Harry Price...!
If you're in #StAlbans area & fancy hearing the latest on this oh-so wonderful torc (& Gef!), it would be lovely to see you on 15th Nov!
Totally suitable for non-archs too.
(Please share. Thank you! 😊)
