@gleick I wonder which town this is. In my home town #Hanover the Bahnhofstraße was renamed Adolf-Hitler-Straße in 1933, but Hanover was in the British sector after the war and that clearly is a US soldier.

Today I saw a #FreePalestine #demonstration in #Hanover. Not a big one, maybe 50–75 people. But there was also a #CounterDemonstration and that was hilarious: it was literary just ONE guy with four coppers! 🤣
