The duty of the government to provide health was removed by the Lansley reforms in 2012. They handed responsibility to the arms length body NHS England, and then cut the funding, so they can say it's not their fault, not their responsibility.
This leaves NHSE having to make decisions about how to spend a shrinking pot of money, expected longer waits, services being cut.
The govt want to bring US style healthcare here.
Don't forget that before #Sunak became PM while on a trip to meet the US govt he took a day off work to spend with US healthcare co.s
The #privatehealthcare co.s are rubbing their hands & profiteering about how much they can extract from both the taxpayer and from individuals who can't bear the NHS waitlists any longer.
The Tories want to see the #NHS die. They've been working at it for more than 30 years, we are living their vision.

Unfortunately the UK #Tory govt wants to move to a US style healthcare system, and had been dismantling the #NHS
Unfortunately I don't think many people are aware, it's not had any national media coverage.
Quite scary.
