Another new piece that's not in my online shops yet. I'll put it online if it doesn't sell at the remaining Saturday markets before Xmas. I used a transparent red glass in a slightly orange shade to make the beads, rolled them in gold colored mica powder and put them back in the flame for a few seconds. I had taken pics for my archives, thinking I would post this new 18.5 inch necklace later in the week. But it sold immediately at yesterday's Farmers Market. This shade of glass was a bit finicky, but worth the effort. A good day at the market yesterday, starting a bit chilly, but the crowds grew as the day warmed. Something new in both my Etsy shop and Ko-fi shop. I used earth tones on these opaque beads, rolling them on a corrugated metal surface while they were red hot, creating the spiral surface texture.
