Haitians in US fearful after Supreme Court ruling

Fear is ricocheting through Haitian communities across the United States after the Supreme Court decided to allow the Trump administration to end legal protections for migrants fleeing violence and natural disasters. Thursday's ruling means hundreds of thousands are facing the prospect of deportation. The ruling applied directly to about 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians granted Temporary Protected Status. It could open the door to the administration unwinding protections for 1.3 million people from 17 countries. Haitians said they've prepared wills, taken their money out of American banks and arranged to be separated from their America-citizen children.
