Do Not Forget the October 10th Massacre, Do Not Let it be Forgotten: HBDH

We are on the 10th anniversary of the Ankara Train Station Massacre on October 10th. On October 10, 2015, another massacre was being committed by the fascist Turkish state, this time by the AKP government. The tens of thousands who flocked to Ankara demanded peace, but the fascist AKP government responded with a declaration of war.

Despite the passing of a decade, those truly responsible for the massacre, in which 104 people were killed and hundreds more were injured, continue to be protected. Just as with hundreds of other massacres for which the state is responsible. The social atmosphere that changed with the Gezi Uprising (June) was followed by the October 6th-8th Uprisings that continued in 2014 and 2015, the resistance for self-governance, and the rising struggles of workers and laborers, women and youth—in short, the oppressed. Social opposition was rapidly developing.

In precisely this atmosphere, the AKP government suffered a complete defeat in the June 7, 2015 elections. To reverse this defeat, maintain power, and stem the tide of a rising mass movement, it implemented the concept of all-out war. Just before June 7, the bloody attack on the HDP’s Amed rally was followed by the Suruç Massacre. And on October 10, at a peace rally in Ankara attended by thousands, the fascist government carried out a massacre by gangs it had supported.

With these massacres, the AKP government aimed to eliminate the revolutionary dynamics and the Kurdish people’s gains and struggle, to suppress all social opposition, and to stifle the rising struggle of the masses. With the concept of all-out war, state-sponsored massacres continued after October 10; a state-sanctioned state terror was unleashed, particularly in Kurdistan.

Over the last decade, the working and oppressed peoples of our region were subjected to a stranglehold of complete oppression. Even the slightest objection was attacked by the government; masses seeking to exercise their democratic rights were confronted by state law enforcement. Prisons were filled with political prisoners; the working class and laborers were condemned to misery, hunger, and poverty. Violence and massacres against women were paved the way for and made commonplace by the government itself. State oppression of the Kurdish people surpassed the 1990s; invasions were launched against Rojava and Bashur Kurdistan, and attempts were made to liquidate the Kurdish people’s gained positions.

Young people were driven to despair in a vortex of hopelessness; nature was opened to the unrestrained plunder of monopoly capital. The fascist government, driven by its own survival and the interests of capital, constructed a completely arbitrary and unregulated regime. The fascist government managed to remain in power in the climate of fear it created with its concept of all-out war; but at the same time, the anger of the oppressed against this government grew and grew.

The struggle and resistance never ceased. Workers, Kurds, women, youth, and oppressed faiths did not bow down, did not surrender, and did not cower. At this stage, the streets and squares were once again animated by the struggle of the masses against the fascist government. Despite all the ongoing oppression, it became clear that the struggle of the oppressed continued to make history.

Just as massacres, oppression, violence, and arrests failed to prevent the collapse of the fortresses the rulers deemed indestructible by the revolutionary uprising of the masses yesterday, they will not be able to prevent them today. Those fortresses will be brought down by the united struggle of the oppressed.

Let us expand the united struggle for revolution and elevate the struggle for socialism for a world free of oppression, exploitation, and massacres.

The people, not the bourgeois legal system of the current order, will judge all the massacres committed by the fascist state and government. No crime committed against the people will go unpunished.

As we respectfully commemorate those immortalized in the massacre, we reiterate our promise that we will achieve their goals. Sooner or later, but without fail, we will hold those responsible for the October 10th Massacre accountable.

Don’t Forget October 10th, Don’t Let It Be Forgotten!
Raise the united revolutionary struggle to hold fascism accountable!

Ulas Adalı Yoldaş is Immortal! — HBDH/DKP

The crisis, exhaustion and collapse of the imperialist capitalist system is deepening every day. This situation destroys nature and condemns society to uninhabitable conditions. Humanity is desired to be condemned to a darkness without an alternative, without exit. The name of this dark darkness is capitalism. Imperialist capitalism is now a system that has completed its historical assignment, has nothing left to give to humanity in an advanced sense, and has been rotten with its functioning and its consequences.

Wherever you look, he cannot give societies anything other than blood tears and decay. Capitalism is the system of preserving and surviving the privileges of only and only a handful of privileged groups and the privileges of this group. Everything is for the sovereignty and sovereignty of this order. For the imperialist capitalist system, any other social phenomenon or human situation has neither the importance nor the value. Today, the reason for the oppressed to the oppressed all over the world is the reason for the cruelty and the source of this reality that stands in the middle. Capitalism is exhausted! In front of humanity imprisoned in the boundaries of this burnout, as Rosa Luxenburg stated years ago, two options stand with all the nakedness: ‘Either barbarism or socialism!’

Today, the historical accumulation of humanity and the desire to flow forward with these barbarism conditions and the system that creates them is in a fierce war with itself. In this war, the flags of socialism are fluctuating in the hands of humanity. The oppressed all over the world are rebelling with the flags of socialism to the capitalist burnout, and this system, which is now embodied by a dystopic darkness. Socialism is the only alternative to humanity with its historical practice as a whole, the future theory of re -proven with every phenomenon in life. In this respect, socialism refers to a social subscription, a rebellion against the imperialist-capitalist system and the real fighting with it. Comrade Ulaş Adalı was a soldier of this war and was one of the pioneers of those who fought on the advanced fronts of this war. Comrade Ulaş Adalı walked and carried out in the struggle for socialism with the revolutionary labor. Workers struggles, street actions, rebellion and uprisings witnessed his struggle. He presented his companionship to the Kurdistan Mountains, the Rojava Revolution and the International struggle. Revolution has always managed to prove it in its practice of being a pioneer warrior claiming socialism.

When it was necessary to be the warrior of the most steep paths of the sharpest paths, his comrades and friends always found him among the leading, leading ones. Comrade Ulaş Adalı was one of the founders of the United Revolutionary Movement, which is the most advanced example of the Union of Kurdish and Turkish peoples in these lands. This was one of the leading representatives for example. He struggled to turn people’s longing for united socialism into a unified power. This request was both the laborer and the face of this will. He made great efforts in the creation of the trenches and the comrade of the position, which took the flesh bone in HBDH. Today, the United Revolution of Türkiye and Kurdistan represents hope and the only alternative to the executives of the capitalist barbarism in our territory.

The United Revolution and Socialism are embodied in the reality of life and struggle that dozens of comrades who marched to immortality in the struggle for the United Island, and the real life and struggle. We will continue to walk in the light of this light! While we commemorated with respect, gratitude and great longing on the anniversary of the march of Ulaş Adalı, the founding staff of HBDH, the founding staff of HBDH, with respect, gratitude and longing for the march of immortality, we once again express our commitment to our march towards the aim of the United Revolution and Socialism.

In the Comrade Comrade Ulas, we bend with respect in front of the revolutionary memories of all the immortals of the United Revolution and Socialism struggle.
Ulas Adalı Yoldaş is immortal!
Long live the United Revolution!

Long live socialism!

HBDH Eziz Gabar Militia; “We Carried Out a Sabotage Action on a Factory Warehouse in Aydın!”

On the morning of June 22, the warehouse section of a factory located in the ASTIS industrial site in the Efeler district of Aydın was set on fire by the Eziz Gabar Militia using a sabotage technique.

As a result of this retaliatory action carried out in memory of our heroic comrades who fought selflessly and became martyrs in Ağrı, Batman and Şırnak, the factory was significantly damaged. The colonialist fascist Turkish state is mobilizing all its resources and carrying out operations against the freedom guerrilla in the four parts of Kurdistan, primarily in the common struggle of our peoples.

The fascist-occupier AKP-MHP gang regime, which is based on the policy of destruction and denial, continues to attack the people and revolutionaries within the scope of the collapse plan that has entered its 9th year. The political and military failures it has suffered have brought the fascist torturer AKP-MHP gang regime to the point of ending.

The occupying army, which can only confront the freedom guerrilla, which has proven its invincibility in every area it is present, especially in Northern Kurdistan, with thousands of soldiers and counter-strikes, dozens of warplanes, UAVs, UAVs and attack helicopters, is still unable to achieve the desired result by hitting the guerrilla resistance.

The unyielding resistance of the comrades who were martyred in the clashes that continued for days increases our determination to fight, and is also the reason for fighting until victory in our just cause. The military operations that are being expanded and continued in Bakur will be fruitless. It will grow the guerrilla resistance.

Until the fascist-occupier AKP-MHP gang regime and everyone who is a part of this dirty war pays the price for these attacks, it is our call to all young people and revolutionaries; Today is the day to grow the guerrilla and its resistance, to demonstrate the steel will of the united struggle against fascism and to take revenge for the martyred comrades.

We call on our patriotic and revolutionary people to actively resist until we uproot the colonialists and occupiers from the lands of Kurdistan and Türkiye!

Long live HBDH!
Long live our Guerrilla Struggle!
Long live our Revolutionary People’s War!

Long live our United Struggle!

Martyr Namirin!

The Great Workers’ Resistance of June 15-16 Illuminates Our Path in Its 55th Year! — HBDH

“Tens of thousands of workers, men and women, charged the barricade. The barricade was torn apart like a piece of paper. The wave of workers that had been billowing for a moment, poured out like lightning and they all roared in unison: FORWARD!” Because the loud voice of resistance had found its echo; “There is no more old workers, there is the working class!” This is how the Great Workers’ Resistance of June 15-16 was described in the revolutionary publications of that period.

The workers’ resistance and strikes that grew wave by wave in the face of the intense attacks of the capitalists of the period against workers and laborers reached their peak on June 15-16, 1970, and turned into a force that shook the ruling classes from top to bottom. Because after this resistance in which the working class displayed its power derived from production, the capitalist state was forced to declare martial law. The June 15-16 resistance is the name of the class solidarity and development of class consciousness of the workers against the state power of the period, which attempted to enact laws in line with the wishes of the capitalists, usurped the union freedoms of the workers and condemned them to collaborative unionism. The workers stood together in the squares and strikes, saying “This is not a union cause, this is a workers’ cause” and made the streets of Istanbul and Izmit narrow to the TC state forces and the servants of the capital class. Workers in all production areas, large and small, flocked to the streets.

The June 15-16 resistance was the day when the working class woke up and made the bloodsucking capital segments tremble despite all state resources and attacks. Of course, the igniting cartridge of that day was the usurpation of the right of the working class to organize and the freedom to establish a union. However, this resistance was not limited to this, it affected all segments of the people, united with the demands and desires of the peasants and other oppressed layers of the people, and became the language of the poverty of the period.

In the face of the increasing struggle of the working class, the capitalists suppressed the resistances with blood in the short term, and in the long term, they tried to block the organized struggle of the class with all their ideological, political and military tools. To this end, martial law and coup mechanisms were used against all organized segments of the class, especially the revolutionary forces. Paramilitary forces were raised in places where the state’s repressive apparatus was insufficient, and state terror was unleashed against all segments of the oppressed people, especially the working class.

The aim was to cut down the minor rights and freedoms gained after 1960 and to suppress the awakening of the class. Despite the passing of 55 years, the struggle of the working class, the oppressed laborers and the broad masses of the people continues. Despite all the fascist coups, oppressions at the level of labor war, intense ideological attacks and chauvinism, the resistance of workers, laborers and peasants has not been prevented to this day. The Gezi uprising is the most concrete example of this. The attacks and oppressions against the working class have continued during the periods of AKP governments, which are the most ardent and aggressive representatives of the Turkish bourgeois class.

These oppressions have progressed fundamentally in the form of workplace murders, usurpation of strike rights, usurpation of union organization rights, etc. and have reached higher dimensions today. In line with the needs of the Turkish ruling bourgeoisie, the Turkish state has increased the dimensions of its attacks against the working class, revolutionary-democratic and patriotic segments domestically, while continuing its occupation policies abroad and providing commercial support to genocidal Israel.

Therefore, Turkish capitalists have become partners in the blood shed by imperialism in the Middle East and Africa, and have become the mortal enemy not only of the people of Turkey and Kurdistan, but of the peoples in the entire region. Attacks against the working class cannot be considered solely as AKP policy. In the example of the Izmir Municipality workers, it has become clear once again that the CHP is a party at least as hostile to workers as the AKP. This reality is fixed in the history of the struggle of the working class in Turkey and Kurdistan. Because it is the CHP mentality that massacred workers who went on strike during the single-party period.

The AKP’s failure to achieve this under current conditions is completely related to the developing struggle of the working class. Today, workers in the metal, mining, textile, food, construction, plastic, shipyard and service sectors are carrying out many resistances. These resistances will continue to increase in the coming years because Turkish capitalists want to put the entire burden of the war preparations and the bill for the crisis that the international imperialist system has entered onto the working class. The AKP/MHP, which holds the executive power of the Turkish state, is implementing policies step by step that will further impoverish the people and deepen the attacks on the working class. Therefore, the Turkish Working Class has the potential to carry out greater resistances within itself.

Following the footsteps of the June 15-16 resistance of the working class of Turkey and Kurdistan, it will re-emerge on the stage of history with its own class identity and will destroy the vicious exploitation wheel that capital applies to the class. Because today, workers of all identities and nations are fermenting resistances in a wide geography from Istanbul to Izmir and the Marmara worker basins, from Antep to Urfa. Turkish capital segments are aware of this reality and are attacking with all their might. And this situation is also proof of how weak Turkish capitalist groups are. In today’s world, when imperialist states want to open the door to another war of sharing, it is again the working class of the world, and in Turkey in particular, the working class of Turkey and Kurdistan, that will destroy this war policy. Only by organizing all oppressed groups around the fundamental power of the working class that comes from production and the weapon of international solidarity can the blood and oppression policies of the Turkish state and Turkish capitalists be put to an end. The Great Workers’ Resistance of June 15-16, the two days when the spontaneous anger of the working class reached its peak, created great fear for capital, great hope for the oppressed and leaps in the consciousness of the workers. In this sense, the instructive and transformative effect of the workers’ power that comes from production has reached the present day. Even after 55 years, workers and laborers are in a constant struggle to apply their power that comes from production and today they are still inspired by the Great Workers’ Resistance of June 15-16. Therefore, even after 55 years, the path illuminated by this resistance has come to this day, and great distances have been covered in the revolutionary struggle. In the light of this reality, we call on the entire working class; a united struggle woven by workers and laborers with class consciousness can make our liberation possible. Our call is a call to organize. Get organized so that we can overturn the wheels of exploitation! Get organized so that we can put an end to the policies of a handful of bloodthirsty imperialists that will destroy the world, and put an end to imperialist dependency! Get organized so that we can put an end to all the tyrannical attacks of the AKP/MHP government! Get organized so that the liberation of women, Alevis, Kurds and all oppressed segments can be achieved! Get organized so that we can save our living spaces and protect our nature! Long live the Great Workers’ Resistance of June 15-16! The Great Workers’ Resistance of June 15-16 continues to illuminate our path! With the strength we receive from the barricades of this resistance, Forward… further… HBDH Executive Committee June 15, 2025

The Gezi Resistance is 12 Years Old — HBDH

The Gezi was the name of the days when the workers and the oppressed in Taksim Commune created solidarity, sharing and collective life.

The trip was the name of the days when the fascist state and the enemies of the people were defeated with the struggle of the peoples.

The Gezi was the name of the days when man was the name of his own life, nature, future and shouting that he would continue to come out.

The trip was a rebellion, rebellion that we saw that women, young people and all peoples had the daring and ability to build future days. And it was a great uprising; When we stand up, we experience how the ruling holders will escape…

For the sake of happy, beautiful days; For the sake of the revolution, those who have been fighting for decades and the oppressed were waiting for us in Gezi. Taksim Square and its surroundings, dozens of cities were liberated by the peoples. Street conflicts in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Adana, Antakya and many cities lasted for days. The biggest mass movement, the greatest rebellion and the uprising in the history of our countries was the Gezi.

Gezi was rebellion against the laborer, poverty, poverty imposing poverty. Corruption, corruption and rebellion against decay. A huge flag of freedom against humiliation, marginalization and ignoring. The trip left us a great revolutionary legacy despite the years. Millions of shouting in Gezi, “This is the beginning,” they have been fighting for years.

Everywhere in our countries was in motion. He struggled in every matter that concerns his life and future. In the uprising that started on March 19, the youth fought to conquer Taksim again. The peoples flowed to the streets to end the work they started in Gezi. They flowed against the deepening misery, the exploitation of human beings, the desolation, and the humiliation of human dignity. Women conquered the squares against the massacre of women, harassment, rape and male -dominated system. Young people who did not want to live in a world without a future, tried to attack against unemployment, helplessness and despair.

All the oppressed peoples, the Kurdish people, the working Alevis, the oppressed national communities have taken action for their liberation, for their salvation, for a better world, for a happy and dignified future, and is still in struggle. They rebelled to conclude the struggle they started in Gezi. The conditions of life of the peoples of Türkiye and Kurdistan have become increasingly heavy since Gezi. Hunger, misery, unemployment, decay in all areas of social life, fascist pressure and terror are increasingly intensified.

Despite thousands of prisoners, operations, arrests and police attacks, despite the intense anti-communist, enemy of popular propaganda and manipulations of religious-fascist power and monopolistic capital, the struggle of the working peoples, despite numerous provocation, became widespread, became widespread. The working masses flowed into the streets at every excuse. At every opportunity, they dare the Gezi. They showed that the fight of freedom was not over. In the past years, the problems increased, the troubles endured, but the struggle was strengthened.

Today we are standing with greater power. The monopolistic bourgeoisie is afraid of the power of the struggle. The fight did not reach victory, but it will reach. The oppressed peoples fight to destroy fascism and gain freedom. Our salvation combines streams flowing through separate channels just like Gezi. Workers, women, young people, Kurdish people, working Alevis, oppressed peoples should solidify, strengthen the struggle together and succeed in continuity. In Gezi, millions had a single punch, and the sovereigns had a big and shocking blow. We’ve done this recently. Now it’s time to continue this, to reach the end.

It is the time for the Seas, Mahirler, Ibrahims, the Mazlum, the sovereigns of the United Revolution, to burn and destroy the sovereigns with the fire of the United Revolution.

The source of the problems we have experienced should take over capitalism and fascism; We must gain freedom. This is the ultimate and definite way of salvation from poverty, misery, deep decay, fascist terror and oppression, national pressure and assimilation.

We greet our comrades who are immortalized in Gezi. We respectfully promise in front of his memories.

We will bring the fight of revolution and freedom to victory. Ethem Sarısülük, Ali İsmail Korkmaz, Berkin Elvan, Mehmet Ayvalıtaş, Abdullah Cömert and Ahmet Atakan are immortal!

We will destroy fascism, we will gain freedom!
Long live the travel public uprising!

On Ocalan’s Call for Peace and Social Democratic Imperialism: An Anarchist Communist Critique

Revolutionary struggle is never a solitary endeavor; rather it is an unfolding process replete with contradiction and tension. But sifting through the complexity what fundamentally endures is solidarity and principles. When we – anarchist and communist revolutionaries – embark on the path of struggle we expect to exist, grow and die in a life of contradiction and tension, but we also intend for the path we are on to steadily maintain the positions that we’ve historically defined as unequivocal. In essence, some things are negotiable, some deviations are forgivable, and some can be treacherous. The recent positions and actions by the PKK, in several of its components, are not only inconsistent with revolutionary struggle, but have deviated so far from the established principles of proletarian and internationalist struggle that the project has now veered into an essentially revisionist, collaborationist posture. This is particularly alarming as the internationalist movement exceedingly needs heightened, resolute and honorable positions as the challenges facing us are grave and growing.

We are writing from an anarchist communist position that is far from monolithic in our locale, or in general, but we have also been at the forefront of solidarity efforts with the PKK since the formation of the International Freedom Battalion, the HBDH, and the establishment of the anarchist guerrilla faction, the IRPGF. We have been increasingly alarmed at ongoing developments and the most recent political realities need to be addressed. We are not writing this with any elation and are not laying out this statement from a dogmatic, idealist stance. In actuality, we maintained principled silence on a whole host of revisionist deviations, and would have continued out of respect for the complex and dynamic position the combatants find themselves in at the forefront in the conflict zones in West Asia. However, recent developments have pushed us to publicly critique the organization in spite of our admiration for their historical accomplishments.

In the earlier phases of the struggle in Rojava, the US and the YPG both stated their collaboration was “temporary, transactional and tactical”; in essence, not a strategic partnership but a brief association to combat ISIS. This stated position is now, approximately, 8 years old and has turned into unarguably a comprehensive strategic partnership.

The reality is even more stark in light of the larger situation in West Asia today. The Palestinian Revolution, ignited by the monumental October 7th operation, followed by remarkable acts of solidarity performed in northern occupied Palestine and the Red Sea, set a new stage in contemporary struggle against colonialism and imperialism, but is also an illustrative example of resistance for the entire internationalist movement. The war against the Zionist settler regime, and in effect the US-led imperialist world system, is at an elevated state, and due to the genocidal nature of the imperialist forces, the planned ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and the potential of success for the Resistance in Gaza, the liberation of Palestine must have a central role. To be clear, this is not to contrast the Kurdish movement with the Palestinian movement, but to highlight a fundamental contradiction that has reached its peak. The Zionist regime, being a settler appendage of US power projection, has embarked on a genocidal campaign, and the eradication of the Zionist state will put unprecedented pressure on American imperialism, particularly as the US is a wounded animal that has been in decline for some time due to its intensifying excesses. In this context, the PKK partnership with the American regime is particularly inconceivable – as a crucial war for liberation against colonialism rages on in the region.

The opportunism in this collusion is evident but there are also three other crucial points that we feel must be addressed to clarify the true scope of the morass.

1) The historic statement by Abdullah Ocalan calling for the PKK to lay down its arms and to dissolve itself not only betrays the strategy of revolutionary people’s war, self-defense, and proletarian struggle; the release of the statement had been timed at the height of the counter-revolutionary push across the region, which is the HTS/Turkish consolidation of power and the Zionist colonial expansion in Syria.

The statement was met with confusion initially by PKK executive committee members. Murat Karayilan, for instance, stated, “Let’s assume that he [Ocalan] made the call. But this work cannot be done only through a call. We are a movement with tens of thousands of armed people. These fighters are not on a payroll to be sacked. These are ideological fighters. They have beliefs and are willing to sacrifice themselves.”

The Turkish revolutionary organization, the MLKP who is allied with the PKK, resoundingly rejected the statement arguing:

We strongly emphasize that the view in the “Call for Peace and a Democratic Society,” which states, “There is no path outside of democracy for system searches and implementations. There cannot be. Democratic consensus is the fundamental method,” is incompatible with the reality of polarization between oppressors and the oppressed, the rich and the poor, the rulers and the oppressed peoples in Turkey, Kurdistan, and worldwide. In a world where the ruling class, through their state apparatuses, hold the monopoly on violence, have access to the means of violence, are armed to the teeth, fascistize state apparatuses, and divide the world with blood and fire, it is impossible for the working class, women, oppressed peoples, and workers to achieve their basic demands, gain freedom, and create a just, humane world without armed struggle and revolutionary mass violence.

The MLKP will continue the fight for freedom against the fascist regime, denialist colonialism, the patriarchal system, capitalist exploitation, and imperialism, for the Union of the People’s Republics of Turkey and Kurdistan, for the Democratic and Socialist Federation in the Middle East, and for the war for socialism, using all means and forms of struggle.

We echo a similar sentiment here. The renunciation of revolutionary self defense and mass violence is the siren call of a movement replete with bourgeois revisionism. Other segments in Ocalan’s call illuminate the same issues: the demands for “free self-expression, democratic self-organization of each segment of society based on their own socio-economic and political structures”; the idea that “permanent and fraternal continuity” can be achieved if it is “crowned with democracy.” Or that “there is no alternative to democracy in the pursuit and realization of a political system. Democratic consensus is the fundamental way.” This is the language of imperialist power; it is the language of liberalism. We don’t mean this in a pejorative sense either, but literally. The discourse of democracy separated from class war, a movement without an armed component, or a strategic initiative against the colonialist enemies is merely speaking the language of defeat.

2) Mazloum Abdi, the top SDF general, who was in the PKK high command, the HPG and a personal friend of Ocalan, publicly stated that the YPG is open to support from the Zionist colonial regime. Abdi stated if the occupation regime can “prevent attacks against us and stop the killing of our people, we welcome that and appreciate it… ‘Israel’ is a force with influence in the US, the West, and the region.” As we noted, Palestine is the compass for anti-colonial revolution, and publicly articulating (particularly now) a desire to open relations with the Zionist regime is unconscionable.

From Imrali Island to SDF headquarters, the whispers of social democratic imperialism have now become screams, however, in Qandil, and HBDH guerrilla zones we hear a different discourse. Cemil Bayik recently stated, for instance that, “A new Syria is being built, and it is based on protecting ‘Israel’ and the global capital. What does ‘Israel’ represent? It represents global capital; it represents the capitalist system. Protecting ‘Israel’ does not only mean protecting Israel; it also means protecting the system of capitalist modernity.”

After the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah the MLKP proclaimed his “memory will live on in the struggle for a free and united Middle East,” while also calling “on the peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey to take the streets, side by side with the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon, against genocidal colonialism.” TKP-ML’s Martyr Nubar Ozanyan Brigade, based in Rojava, proclaimed that “Nasrallah has become an example of resistance against ‘Israels’ brutality, attacks and occupations.” They called “on all peoples to take a stand against genocide and to actively solidarize with the Palestinian and Lebanese people,” since the “only remedy for the oppressed against this system is to unite in a common line of resistance and to strengthen solidarity networks with the oppressed peoples of the world.”

These positions hearken back to the foundational era of the PKK’s Kurdish Freedom struggle, when guerrillas were based in the Bekaa Valley as guests of the Palestinian Resistance, and even took casualties fighting Zionist colonialists in the 1982 battle for the Castle Arnun in Lebanon. Evoking this period highlights the nature of the political differences that have emerged, and the consolidation of bourgeois thought and practice within the upper echelon of the PKK – seemingly the dominant perspectives. The revolutionary parties and some of the executive branch in Qandil fully understands that the Kurdish Freedom Movement, allied with the Palestinian Resistance is unmistakably the path to liberate both societies – merged again through resistance.

Practically speaking, the Resistance in Palestine and Lebanon wanted a front opened against the Zionist regime from Syria. The Assad regime, being as opportunistic and cynical as expected, refused to open a new front for the Resistance, leaving Hezbollah to take the brunt of the fighting in the north singlehandedly. If PKK/YPG forces had opened a front, even symbolically, the contradictions that exist would have been severely disrupted, solidarity between the stateless peoples would have been strengthened and the repairing of Kurdish-Arab ties could have been addressed with a foundational basis of revolutionary solidarity and not political maneuvering.

3) The SDF/YPG announcement of their political and military merger with the HTS regime in Damascus signals an impending collapse of the revolutionary project.

The HTS seizure of power in Syria is the culmination of a counter revolutionary process targeting Palestine and revolutionary Kurdistan in tandem. HTS, like its counterparts ISIS and Al-Qaeda, are accomplices with the fascist Turkish state. Its military offensive against Assad, timed on the very day of the ceasefire in Lebanon – November 27th – was designed to put extraordinary pressure on the Palestinian Resistance and its supporters during a period of vulnerability. In this regard, it was almost certainly agreed upon by the Zionists and their American sponsors. Before the offensive, the US and Zionist regime were beaten to a stalemate in Lebanon and the HTS actions became the one marker of strategic success for imperialism in the entire al-Aqsa Flood battle. Fascist Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed the collapse of the Syrian regime was “a direct result of the blows we have inflicted” on the anti-Zionist Resistance forces.

On the Kurdish side, the success of the HTS military operation brought to power the same people the PKK had fought against since the rise of ISIS and it also rejuvenated the Turkish backed SNA forces that were attacking the YPG in the north. However, this also put political pressure on revolutionary factions in the Kurdish movement since Rojava was surrounded by hostile forces who have now gained momentum.

The Communist factions have maintained the position that striving for a Kurdish nation, allied with internationalist anti-imperialist forces as a bulwark against Western expansion is the objective. The PKK, on the other hand, proposed the formation of the democratic nation, opposed to the nation-state system, where directly-democratic communes organize themselves, cutting through the miscellaneous Sykes-Picot arrangement, and through ethnic divisions. But the opportunistic forces in the PKK, based in Syria and Turkey, disregarded both revolutionary propositions and took Ocalan’s call for disarming/dissolution and the opportunity to appease western forces to its logical conclusion. As TKP-ML stated in their recent text about Ocalan’s call, “it appears that even this ‘paradigm’” – Democratic Confederalism – “has now been abandoned.” In both instances, in Syria and Turkey, the party is calling for subsumption by both states. In Turkey the PKK calls for the establishment of a democratic process, which as Cemil Bayak says the conditions for such an initiative do not even exist. He states, “The Turkish state attacks us every day with all kinds of weapons. How are we going to stop under these circumstances? Of course, our struggle continues.” In Syria, Salih Muslim, spokesperson for the PYD’s foreign relations, reinforces the capitulation, claiming that the agreement with HTS is consistent with Ocalan’s decree.

We should also note that the signing of the agreement with the HTS regime, just like the offensive against Assad, was timed in a particularly heinous manner. The signing ceremony was commenced immediately after one of the gravest massacres – resembling Sabra and Chatilla – was committed by regime forces. Recent estimates maintain that almost 1400 people were slaughtered by the state in western Syria, the vast majority civilians, with tacit approval by the west and their puppet Arab states.

In the imperial core, particularly in the US, we had struggled against the revisionist creep in Rojava solidarity efforts; promoting the combative forces and maintaining the line of armed struggle, anti-imperialism, while supporting efforts either towards the Kurdish nation, or the Democratic Confederalist line. Both positions have merit, and solidarity was established through struggle, with its clearest articulation in the International Freedom Battalion in Rojava, and the HBDH in Turkey in Bakur. Through this process we have also understood mourning, loss and sacrifice. The internationalist movement has given martyrs from all over the world; Orhan Bakırcıyan, Ivana Hoffmann, Dogan Kirefe, Lorenzo Orsetti, Michael Israel, Ulaş Bayraktaroglu, Alina Sanchez, Nurhak Cem, and the list continues.

In memory of the fallen it is our responsibility to clearly proclaim that the direction the party has taken is contrary to the stated objectives of the revolution: from either the class struggle position or the Democratic Nation. We hope non-revisionist forces within the struggle can exert the necessary pressure to prevent a further drift towards reaction and normalization with imperialism. In a similar manner that Fatah’s capitulation in the Palestinian struggle damned the left to years of insignificance, or Khrushchev’s peaceful coexistence betrayed anti-colonial forces, thoroughly discrediting the Soviet project, the PKK’s shift towards integration and peaceful coexistence with US imperialism will certainly have a similar effect.

The integration of revolutionary political forces into the Western-backed state in Syria, and the dismantling of revolutionary military forces in Qandil and Bakur is totally irreconcilable and antagonistic to the furtherance of the internationalist movement. The Kurdish Revolution, with the PKK as its primary revolutionary force, cannot prevail after being absorbed into bourgeois, fascist political structures in West Asia; in fact, the most advanced sections of the movement – the women’s movement and the armed struggle – will only survive if the democratic aspirations of the Kurdish people are fulfilled and maintained through embracing the principled positions that have been established and continuing to combine efforts with other forces fighting against imperialism today. People’s War, the Democratic Confederalist model, and the “right to freely secede” (the right to establish a Kurdish nation which is now rejected by Ocalan), are all positions that reject absorption and must be upheld. As TKP-ML succinctly stated, “Renouncing or refusing to demand.. national-collective rights does not mean that the Kurdish national question has been resolved, nor does it indicate that the contradiction between the oppressor and oppressed nations has disappeared.

Due to wary statements from some members of the PKK leadership and the revolutionary organizations we believe there is still potential to pivot and rectify the situation internally. We are certain the guerrillas in the mountains, the commando units in the cities, and local organizers who worked diligently to build popular power are questioning these positions. Revolutionaries in Kurdistan and elsewhere understand what is at stake and that now is not the time for half measures. The collaborationist posture is particularly egregious as antagonisms and conflict are amplified in the region. The internationalist anarchist and communist positions must further the line against capitulation.

For a free Kurdistan and a free Palestine!

No to unilateral ceasefire and disarmament!

HBDH Executive Committee: Comrade Baran Serhat Lives in Our United Revolutionary Struggle!

We sent off comrade Baran Serhat, one of the pioneers of our United Revolution, to immortality in a treacherous attack 6 years ago. Despite those who murdered him, comrade Baran Serhat continues to lead our United Revolution struggle. His successors are now proudly waving the glorious flag that he never let go of until his last breath, in the mountains, cities, prisons, squares, factories and schools of Turkey and Kurdistan, in the toughest trenches of the struggle. The dreams of those who think that they can end the struggle for revolution by massacring the revolutionaries are once again shattered. It is again the red road of the revolution that advances to victory despite all the difficult conditions and the all-out attacks of the fascist power. The sacrifice and effort of comrade Baran Serhat on this red road continues to guide us today, as it did yesterday. Comrade Baran Serhat devoted his life to the revolutionary struggle to carry our world, where exploitation and oppression prevail, to salvation and freedom. He became a creative leader by adapting the huge struggle experience he received from his predecessors to the conditions he was in. Wherever there was oppression and pain, he took his place at the forefront of the struggle of the peoples. The cities and prisons of Türkiye-Northern Kurdistan witnessed his many brave actions. He made the enemy kneel down with his upright stance, turning every place he was in into a fortress where the revolution was defended.

Comrade Baran Serhat was a master revolutionary who lived as he thought and brought theory to life with practice. He became both a brave warrior and a creative commander and leader of the struggle, positioned himself in accordance with whatever the need of the struggle was, and embraced his duties accordingly. He made intense efforts to develop the common struggle of the people by not recognizing the artificial borders created. He played important roles in protecting and advancing the Rojava Revolution and in expanding the internationalist struggle. He pioneered the establishment and development of our United Revolution movement and undertook historical duties. And in March, which witnessed many heroisms, resistances and also massacres, he fell to the ground in the attack of the fascist Turkish state and its gangs.

We are going through times when the flow of history has entered a sharp turn. We are in a process in which the contradictions and struggles between the rulers who drag the world towards a great destruction and the world’s peoples on the other side have become much sharper. Learning from the lives of the martyrs of the revolution and commemorating them is the most meaningful way to commemorate them, in conditions where revolutionary militancy, revolutionary values and strong comradeship are as necessary as bread and water. Because they walked towards the enemy, never taking a step back from their struggle under the most difficult conditions, always moving forward, never hesitating for a moment, they became indomitable warriors of truth by embracing the consciousness of sacrifice. They instilled hope in the world and humanity, defying pessimism and indecision.

Those we send off to eternity in the struggle for revolution and socialism are the sources of resistance of our revolutionary war. They are monuments of resistance that show us what to do in the face of the unjust wars, occupations, oppression and torture, exploitation and massacres that continue today. We will increase the fight with the awareness that commemorating them is to develop the revolutionary struggle.

While we respectfully commemorate comrade Baran Serhat and all the monuments of resistance, we promise that we will walk more determinedly on the path they walked, that we will expand the united struggle, and that we will carry the struggle for revolution and socialism to victory. Let us raise the struggle for the United Revolution against imperialism, capitalism, fascism and male domination.

Comrade Baran Serhat Lives in Our Struggle in the Year of Immortality!
Martyr Namirin!

HBDH Fikri Baygeldi Militia; “We Carried Out Two Actions in Bursa!”

On February 8 and 10, HBDH Fikri Baygeldi Militia set fire to a car and minibus belonging to fascists in Bursa. Vehicles were completely reduced to ashes.

AKP-MHP fascism continues its policies of oppression, assimilation and extermination in Turkey and Kurdistan without slowing down. The occupation attacks on Rojava and Bashur, the bombing of the resisting people of Rojava, and the isolation it imposed on the Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and revolutionary prisoners in prisons show the real purpose of fascism.

On the anniversary of the February 15 International Conspiracy, the legacy left to us by the fedayeen “You cannot darken our sun” is in the hands of the peoples of Rojava who did not leave their place despite the bombs of fascism in the Tishrin dam, in the freedom guerrillas resisting in the mountains, in our comrades who resisted in the dungeons, and in the hands of the HBDH-KBDH militia that turned the cities into a nightmare of fascism.

We warn AKP-MHP fascism and all its collaborators!

We will hold the people accountable for the massacres! The fascist state that committed war crimes and all the people and institutions that financed the war are our targets!

We will hit the capital in the heart, in the cities!  We dedicate our action to the Bouncers of You Can’t Dim Our Sun.  We call on all our people to organize in the ranks of HBDH against fascism.

Long live HBDH!

Down with the February 15 International Conspiracy! We will destroy fascism, we will win freedom!

HBDH Fikri Baygeldi Militia; “We Carried Out Two Actions in Bursa!” – Abolition Media

Let’s Embrace the Rojava Revolution: No Passage for Fascist Occupiers!

We are in a period in which we are witnessing important developments in the Middle East. Regimes are collapsing, wars are deepening. In this historical process, the Kurdish question is once again on the agenda of the peoples of the Middle East and Turkey in particular.

Throughout history, the imperialist powers have supported the insolvency of the Kurdish question and the conflictual processes that emerged from it, and established comprehensive alliance relations with the colonial powers in these processes.

Today, extensive occupation attacks are being carried out in the territory of North East Syria by the fascist state and the Syrian National Army gangs supported by it. After the collapse of the Assad regime on December 8, the process turned into a counter-revolutionary attack on the lands of the Rojava Revolution.

The fascist Erdoğan regime is making a desperate effort to strangle the Rojava Revolution by using all its means. The government has based its entire foreign policy on the policy of liquidating the gains made by the Kurdish people. With the taxes of the working people of Turkey and Kurdistan, SNA gangs and occupation policies are being implemented.

In this respect, one of the first reasons for the poverty of our people is the dirty war policies carried out by the fascist government. The dirty war policies that have been going on for years, the economic and social values stolen from the future of the workers and laborers of Turkey, and the peoples, are being transferred to the genocidal war waged by the fascist government against the Kurdish people. In this respect, dirty war and fascist attacks deepen poverty and exploitation.

While the fascist government insists on its war policies against the Kurdish people, it also gives signs that it is ready to start a new process in the Kurdish question within the country. Here, it is necessary to grasp more strongly the fact that the process of non-solution of the Kurdish question has now become a dead end. From the point of view of the fascist government, the fact that it cannot defeat the Kurdish freedom struggle with its policy of no solution and extermination attacks has been revealed. What obliges the ruling powers to talk about the Kurdish question is the struggle for freedom that the Kurdish people and the working class of Turkey and the socialist forces have been waging for years and the price they have paid for this cause. From now on, the main determinant of the process will be the struggle of these forces.

Today, while the government is making statements pointing to the solution process in Turkish politics, it is also increasing its occupation attacks on Rojava lands.

In this respect, defending the Rojava Revolution also means defending the future of the peoples of the Middle East. The peoples of Syria are not without a future. Apart from Salafist Islamist gangs such as HTS and SNA in Syria, the only force that truly represents the democratic and free future of the peoples has been the Rojava Revolution and the autonomous democratic administration formed around its idea.

We, as the United Revolutionary Movement of the Peoples, embrace the Rojava Revolution. On this basis, we will work with all our strength to ensure that the occupying fascist government fails in the attacks on Rojava.

Today, the fascist government is carrying out massacres against civil rights who resisted to protest the occupation attacks on the Tişrin, Karakozak and Kobani lines.

Even these developments reveal how hostile the fascist government is to the peoples’ struggle for freedom. The fascist government, which massacres the civilian population in Rojava, also implements all kinds of oppression and attacks against those who want democracy and freedom within its borders.

Trustees are appointed to municipalities, politicians are arrested and journalists are detained. All these developments are evidence of the fascist government’s insistence on a policy of war and no solution to the Kurdish question.

In the face of all these attacks, we consider it our duty to build an internationalist revolutionary solidarity that goes beyond the limits of fascist power. It is a fundamental revolutionary duty to embrace the Rojava Revolution and to protest the occupying regime on this basis by all means within its own territory.

The defeat of fascism will pave the way for the struggle for a United Revolution in Turkey and Kurdistan. On this basis, we must mobilize all our means to ensure that the fascist government fails in its invasion attack on the Rojava Revolution.

Our call to the working class and toilers of Turkey is not to remain silent in the face of this fascist occupation. On this basis, we must unite around the banner of the United Revolution and raise the banner of freedom and fraternity of peoples against the occupying forces.

The day is a day to organize against fascism, to embrace the Rojava Revolution and to mobilize for the defeat of the gangs supported by the occupiers. HBDH Militias should target the occupiers and the fascist genocidal groups that support them in all areas where they are present.

In this respect, the occupation attack on Kobani, which is the symbol of the Rojava Revolution, should be met with the spirit of Kobani.

Let’s Embrace the Rojava Revolution: No Passage for Fascist Occupiers!  – Abolition Media

HBDH Partizan Amed Militia; “We Set Fire to a Vehicle Belonging to a Fascist in Bursa!”

Our militias continue their actions in the metropolises against the occupying Turkish state, which wants to strangle the Rojava Revolution.

On the morning of January 28, the HBDH Partizan Amed Militia, greeted the 10th anniversary of the liberation of Kobani,  by setting fire to a vehicle belonging to a fascist member of the AKP in the Pınarbayır neighborhood of Bursa’s Osmangazi district.

Kobani, which is remembered for its resistance and victory against ISIS, the most brutal formation of this age, and which is a hope for humanity, is resisting under the attacks of the murderous Turkish state. In the town of Sirin, south of the city of Kobani, 12 civilians were killed as a result of the bombing of the market area. The AKP-MHP fascist regime, which is not far behind the barbarism of ISIS, continues to commit a new war crime every day by mobilizing all its means to destroy the gains of the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan.

Even in this process of negotiations, the fascist regime, which continues its attacks without interruption and does not abandon the language of threats, is coming to an end. In the face of our organized strength and determination, fascism has no choice but defeat. The resistance of the age that continues in Kobani, Tişrin and guerrilla areas, the honorable resistance of revolutionaries, political administrators, journalists and our patriotic people who do not take a step back against all kinds of oppression and arrests are the greatest proof of our United Revolution. In order to be worthy of the honorable resistance of the peoples who shielded their bodies to defend the Rojava Revolution, we will expand the United Revolution front in the metropolises of Turkey and destroy Turkish fascism.
