The 𝘈𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 is calling for peace because "peace is public health."

Reminds me of the 2015 NEJM editorial supporting #GunControl -- electing "lawmakers at all levels of government with the courage to defy gun lobbyists" -- for the simple reason that gun violence is a public health crisis.
