Phil Thane ✅Stupid app from #Gridserve. As usual these days the 'Create Account' sends a verification code via email. But going to my email to get the code then back to the account setup page and it has reverted to 'Create Account' and wants to send me a new verification code 🔄🔄
@Maker_of_Things @snaptophobic Charging apps are a pain. Electroverse seems ok but I signed up for #Gridserve to use a charger on the M3 it didn't work on 3 chargers but just tapping my credit card did. WTF? Currently on a camp site in Brittany, there's a charger here run by EDF. No app, it works via a web page. But you do have to put €50 on account before you use it. So far we've used €15 @ 50c/kWh but we're here until Saturday so I'll get my money's worth

I was just there on Saturday as it happens, it feels as though I only just missed Nikki, as all the demo cars were in the exact same positions!

Specs say the car can charge 10% to 80% in 43 minutes.
Reality says a 40% to 80% charge took 53 minutes. And I was the only person using 1 of the 6 350kW DC chargers at this #Gridserve location.
So more time for way less charge capacity.

JessGioiaBlessedly, it was quiet at Tebay although I had to cross over to the Northbound service. First #Gridserve device didn’t like me but the other one did and pumped in the power at my max 43kWh rate. One hour later my battery was totally full!
That got me all the way to my hotel at Alderley Edge with 20 miles to spare. Phew.
