Day trip to London yesterday. 34 mile round trip to the railway station in the new #Kia. Then mid afternoon I noticed I was down to 20% phone battery and it occurred to me that as I’d left the “real” car key at home, in favour of the digital key, I had to be careful otherwise I could be in trouble. I left #victorville on the way to #lasvegas with 250 miles of range and distance to my hotel was 198 miles.

I barely made it to #primm Nevada with less than 10 miles of charge left.

My Hyundai #ioniq5 range estimate was off by about 60 miles on a 200 mile trip. Pretty nerve wracking pulling to the charger with 10 miles of range left
