＞そんなCoilとMozilla、そしてコンテンツライセンスの定義を行うクリエイティブ・コモンズが協力して立ち上げたGrant for the Webには以下の目的があるとのこと。
＞・クリエイターの作品に対して直接お金が支払われることで、クリエイターのウェブへの参加を拡大する。このクリエイターには、これまでアクセスが少なかった世界中のグループも含まれるとのこと。
＞・閲覧履歴などの消費者データの収集に依存しないウェブ収益化の代替手段を作成することにより、プライバシーを保護する。
＞・支払い業者の競争を可能にするオープンな支払いエコシステムを構築することで、ウェブコンテンツの支払いを受けるための管理コストを削減する。
＞・今は収益化されていないコンテンツや非常に低いレートで収益化されているコンテンツに対して支払いを受けることができるようにすることで、ウェブの革新を奨励する。
＞・オープンコンテンツやオープンソースソフトウェアの開発に投資する。
＞・コンテンツの作成者と消費者が任意の通貨を使用できるようにし、複数のアカウントをロックしたり強制的に保持したりするような精算プラットフォームを排除する。

んーと思いながら記事読んでましたが、クリエイティブ・コモンズも協力して↑の目的なら結構期待できるかも？

Firefoxを開発するMozillaは、ウェブ企業のCoilや非営利団体のクリエイティブ・コモンズと共同で「広告中心の収益構造に代わる新しいビジネスモデル」を考えるプロジェクト「Grant for the Web(ウェブのための助成金)」を推進し、1億ドル(約108億円)もの助成金を投入することを発表しました。
