Gustavo #Gorriti, the founder of IDL-Reporteros, the organisation dedicated to investigative journalism, has won the prestigious 2025 World Press Freedom Hero award for his “exceptional bravery and resilience in the struggle for press freedom” granted by the International Press Institute in partnership with International Media Support. He was one of seven to receive the prize in Vienna on 24 October.
