I finally found out the meaning of certain Metrolinx signage at #GOTransit platforms. I knew the numbers meant the cab stop spot depending on the number of coaches. But "L" and "2L" confused me because they used to look like mileposts (an old one is still in the picture).

Turns out the "L" sign is the cab stop spot for the locomotive engine end of the train, and "2L" is used when two engine units pull the train. #trains #toronto #transit #railroad

Amazing that I can, from a #gotransit train (from Hamilton to Union), tune in live to #ottawa #cenataph #remebranceday ceremony. For the moment of silence, the 21-gun salute, and the bugle. Just wish all the data was staying in #canada.
