Today I Learned on how to have the Go Map!! OpenStreetMap editor application on my iPhone to record the GPX track when the application is in the background.

Not only enable Location: Always, not only enable GPX Tracks, but also enable Collect in Background. Where you enable GPX tracks, there is another menu > after it.

I've been using this app for many years and this has always been a pain-point for me.

A Quest to add a website or phone or opening_hours sounds great, but maybe not for a leisure=dog_park? It's just a fenced bit of grass & woodchips with a gate??

Back in the mid noughties, I’ve acquired my very first GPS receiver and discovered GeoCaching. And it was a great hobby to have. There were various elaborate Multi-Caches and even the bog-standard “Traditional” Caches often were properly sized Tupperware boxes and contained exciting gewgaws. Amb l’app #gomap vaig editant a peu de carrer, afegint fonts públiques, aparcaments de bicicleta i corregint errors.

També he instal·lat #josm (per si no tenia prou feina 😩😂) i, amb el complement #OpenData, vaig incorporant al mapa el «Catàleg d'arbres monumentals i singulars» del #PaísValencià des del shapefile corresponent 🍃 .
