I did 100 #streetcomplete quests in #Prague today. Unfortunately, much like Florence last year, the city needs a lot of surveying to get up to speed.
From my small sample size estimation, in the tourist regions, about 30-50% of the shops are either missing on the map, changed inhabitant and are now completely different shops or are otherwise wrong.
It's sad that so little people know about #openstreetmap and thus most of the work has to be done by volunteers surveying instead of for example the shop owners adding and updating their own place (or someone paid by them).

Aus diesem Anlass: Schaut euch euch mal #StreetComplete an. Und wenn ihr mal Zeit über habt oder spontan nen Spaziergang macht, startet mal die App. Da wird man ganz spielerisch an die Hand genommen, Infos in OSM einzutragen. Meine Heimatgegend ist mittlerweile ganz gut gepflegt, und ich mach das auch nur nebenher hin und wieder :) #diday

I was in the middle of a massive update of shops on #OpenStreetmap yesterday when someone spotted I’d finished one side of a street and messed with the other while I was in the middle of editing, causing churn and conflicts. Fuxake, if you spot someone extensively editing an area, give it an hour, maybe?
