There are multiple recordings of Stan Getz and Astrid Gilberto performing ‘It Might As Well Be Spring.” I haven’t found a studio recording (that uses this intro, but maybe a TV or radio appearance has it, perhaps more than one, using the opening motif based on this birds song.

November 2006 in der 5.000 Zuschauer fassenden Tokyo International Forum Hall A von seinem getreuen japanischen Team mitgeschnitten. Zwölf Jahre lang bearbeitete die Crew 21 der 43 Songs, die er an diesen beiden Tagen präsentiert hatte. Darunter befinden sich Hits wie "Garota de Ipanema", "Chega de Saudade", "Desafinado" und "Águas de Março" sowie kostbare Ersteinspielungen wie "Pica-pau. Das Ergebnis wurde im Mai 2019, zwei Monate vor seinem Tod am 6. Juli, als sein einziges autorisiertes Live-Video auf Blu-ray veröffentlicht.«
