Canada should consider selling jet fuel, and possibly other fuel products, to Cuba in the interim, and escort the ships with our navy. Canada has long not honoured the US embargo on Cuba. There's no reason under Canadian, Cuban, or international law to forbid this sale, and allowing the USAnians to unilaterally impose this additional hardship on the Cuban people is unethical and immoral.
Would Mango Mussolini lose his shit over this? Yes, probably. Would he attack our navy ships? Unlikely.
