@GottaLaff yeah. i don't have the "good kind" of breast cancer. it's the aggressive one. so they have to be aggressive even if they removed the millimeters of cells with the lumpectomy. so, for real, #GetAMammo and #fuckCancer.
first thing you should do after unpacking the basics and shacking the hands of your new neighbors is finding the closest non-profit hospitals and clinics in your area. go visit. feel their vibe. make some meet & greet appointments then decide which practice to join.
so even though it's the earliest possible stage it is also the aggressive form of breast cancer.
the good news, they're confident that with their chemo schedule, the cancer won't spread.
i still don't even know where radiation falls in this schedule. i'll know soon.
all of this is happening so fast, i haven't had the time to even freak out and have a good cry.
it is still very overwhelming.

i slept almost 12 hours last night!
feeling rested is fucking amazing!!!
just had dinner and i can barely keep my eyes opened. tbh, though am a known insomniac, it wasn't until the breakout of the pandemic that i really couldn't sleep of worry. that and the last 4 months of this #cancer scare have wrecked me. tonight is the first time in i don't know how long, i will be going to sleep before midnight. and am going to thoroughly respect my body's wishes.
which is another reason to remind y'all #GetChecked #GetAMammo support the #strikes & demand #Medicare4All
please ignore the fact i haven't had a mani in ages, just found one of these surgery doohickeys on my side; whilst taking my first quick shower after surgery.
also, who else keeps their hospital wristbands on for a few days, just in case?
