Yeah, I know the title "Genres Inside Genres: A Short Theory of Embedded Genre" isn't exactly too sexy for its clothes. However this brief study might actually change how you read a little bit.

Interesting. I think genre theory would agree.

Also it would tend to solve the relationship between genre and setting it through the idea of a genre's "world". At least a few theorists have moved in that direction.
