I've been seeing a lot of videos and blog posts about the resurgence of #piracy in response to #enshittification . A common note is that its a _service_ problem, not a _product_ problem which is correct.

A company that has known this from the get-go and has never #enshittified is #Beatport - they're like iTunes but specifically for #EDM (sorry #bonkwave #genrepolice) I bought my first #DRM -free #mp3 tracks from Beatport in 2004 and (with some exceptions) I can _still download them today_.

I’ve decided to go through my discography and highlight tracks which I’m pretty sure are #BonkWave, and all the rest are undecided or that I definitely know are #NotBonkWave. Turns out I’ve been making bonkwave before bonkwave was even coined!

As we’re still trying to work out what is or isn’t bonkwave, this chart of my releases showing my suspected bonkwave tracks in blue may be appreciated by bonk enthusiasts and/or deemed heretical by the #GenrePolice. Feel free to agree or disagree!

I want to look at different grades of NPC and how we should approach them, what we can do to make sure that they become part of a living world and how they can change. #genrepolice https://www.geeknative.com/170765/genre-police-friends-npcs-and-countrymen/
Genre Police: Friends, NPCs And Countrymen

I want to talk about how using the word 'NPC' actually means a lot of things. Because each one you introduce to any RP game has an intent, role to play and ways they can expand.

I've gone through periods of going very hard and very dark in some games, not always to the games favour.

Genre Police: Playing The Player

Running an RPG is a kind of arcane act, weaving an illusionary spell of storytelling for a group to devour. But when we think about spellcasting, it's often easy to forget the material component of such a conjuring.

I don't envy the #GenrePolice these days, trying to keep up with all the new genres kids and goslings are coming up with constantly...

Ok, I've educated myself about #BonkWave and #NotBonkWave. I don't think that my music fits into these categories. I think it's more of #ProtoBonk or #PostBonk, but I'm not sure, I'll leave it to #GenrePolice

I'm now looking forward to fixing my mistakes with that group – we haven't played since things got a little tense, but I know things went wrong and how I can make things better.
