The Pope has chosen the new Deputy for General Affairs in the Secretariat of State: it is Paolo Rudelli.

It takes the place of Edgar Peña Parra, who had been in office since 2018. Leo XIV also appoints the new Prefect of the Pontifical Household: it is Petar Rajic, the current apostolic nuncio in Italy.
