Sunday wasn't so ridiculously hot. Must've had my jacket on and off 20-odd times, depending on the clouds or sun. Managed to walk a full lap of the circuit for the first time, discovered some great viewing spots that we'd never seen before. Might've found an alternative beer stall, needs more research next time (preferably by someone who can speak better French).
Yesterday was stinking hot. We watched some racing, then walked back to town for beer supplies, fully intending to come back for more racing, but "accidentally" had three beers at a local bar then scarpered before the imminent thunderstorm.
Took aaaaaages to get off the ferry, but then a reasonable drive down to Gedinne. Time for some rehydration before we sort out the van on its pitch.
Daytime ferry, with cabin, and another long drive later? Need some sleeping potion 🍺🥱😴
Fuelling up at 1am this morning for the long overnight drive to Harwich. I'm the passenger this time, and I already have supplies. 🍻

Off to Belgium for a weekend in Gedinne. Wondering if I should be taking notice of HGV restrictions.
Stage 1: over to Preston for a vehicle change. Rain all the way over Hartside Pass until Melmerby, back roads down to Tebay to avoid traffic problems on M6, blustery all the way.
