As a #gardener I sincerely hate that plant. It’s called Pyracantha coccinea (scarlet firethorn). Sure it’s good for birds in the winter (shelter, food) but because of those thorns my hands hurts whole day 😪 #nature #gardenerphotos

This #JapaneseQuince (Chaenomeles japonica) wants spring so bad like everyone else!
This beautifull #plant is very usefull in polish gardens. Besides wonderfull flowers, their fruits are used to make #alcohol. That bevrage is caled #pigwówka and it's a type of #nalewka (macerating/infusing fruits etc. in alcohol).

Those pretty pink #berries are from Chenault coralberry (Symphoricarpos × chenaultii). Nothing makes me more happy in #winter then seeing some #color in that grey colored #weather 🥹
