The existing trail was a nice enough start, but beyond the long overdue need for maintenance the trail is lacking in too many basic facilities.
It's time for toilet facilities.
... for water bottle refill and cooling stations.
... for bike repair stations.
Every place the Trail encounters a street, a road, there should be, at the very least a Pedestrian First, Level Crossing.
There are far too few play areas for kids.
It is far too difficult to get to and from The Trail by Public Transit, or by bicycle, or on foot.
The Ganatchio Trail, is an example of exactly how "bare minimum" far too much of Windsor is
You deserve better than The Bare Minimum.
Write to your Mayor. Write to your City Councillors.
Windsor is a gem
Gems need polishing.
