Estoy haciendo un poco de arqueología sobre #android concretamente de los juegos primigenios (y salvando obvios ports o continuaciones de juegos de j2me) y es un desierto digno para un París-Dakar😅
Sobretodo comparado con iOS donde no habia rival.

Recuerdo mi salto del #iPhone5 al #galaxynote3 que la mayor perdida fue el gaming.

War übrigens goldrichtig dass ich gestern noch zu #MediaMarkt gegangen bin und ihr mit dem #Fairphone6 ein neues #Smartphone gekauft habe. Hatte ein wenig die Befürchtung es wäre vielleicht nichts für sie weil unser Nutzungsverhalten doch sehr unterschiedlich ist aber sie ist begeistert. Wäre schlimm gewesen wenn nicht, war eine solche Überwindung für sie ausnahmsweise auch Mal an sich selbst zu denken, wie scheiße wäre es gewesen wenn sich das hinterher nicht gelohnt hätte. Aber es gefällt ihr besser als ihr #GalaxyNote3 und DAS bedeutet wirklich einiges. War ihr erstes Oberklasse-Smartphone und seitdem war sie eingefleischter Samsung-Fan.

🇬🇧 I know there are a lot of experts here on uploading custom software to phones and I need help - during a move I found a #Samsung #GalaxyNote3 in great condition, however, its official software is long out of date by the manufacturer, I would like to give it a second life by uploading some Custom ROM, but I need a recommendation of some specific and relatively simple instructions. Can anyone help?

🇵🇱 Wiem, że jest tu sporo ekspertów od wgrywania customowego oprogramowania do telefonów i potrzebuje pomocy - podczas przeprowadzki znalazłem #Samsung #GalaxyNote3 w świetnym stanie, jednakże jego oficjalne oprogramowanie jest już dawno nieaktualizowane przez producenta, chciałbym mu dać drugie życie wgrywając jakiś Custom ROM, ale potrzebuję polecenia jakiegoś konkretnego i w miarę prostej instrukcji. Czy ktoś może pomóc?

@[email protected] I'll second that suggestion on a #Xiaomi :) I've been enjoying my #MiA1 for about 2 years now, and it feels a lot less bloated than the #Samsung #GalaxyNote3 I had before that.

@dazinism for now my #MiA1 is still working well enough, so with a bit of luck I can skip the #MiA2 and hopefully #Xiaomi will release another #AndroidOne device by the time I need to replace this one as daily driver.
The more frequent updates, #dualSIM and cheaper price, definitely makes me want another Xiaomi rather than the #Samsung #GalaxyNote3 I had before this Mi A1. Though I do miss having a user replaceable battery...
