Ever posted online about a product you discovered and promised to share your thoughts once it arrived? I did that approximately two months ago, but I’m having trouble finding the post—it might be on my other Fediverse instance or on some random Lemmy board. Anyway, in case anyone was wondering, here are my thoughts on the Origami Customs order I recently received.
So, I’ve experimented with various #gaffs, #panties, and shaping briefs from different sources—mostly bought on Amazon or small online shops. Results were mixed, with some being better than others, but often there was something slightly off. Then I came across Origami Customs, a Canadian brand that creates custom-sized garments based on your measurements. Naturally, I was eager to try them out.
On the downside:
- It’s a bit pricey (though they do have a program for free gaffs that you can check out here).
- Since they make each order to fit, shipping takes some time (currently 6–8 weeks, and mine took pretty much the full 8 weeks).
On the upside:
- The fit is completely customized.
- The quality is top-notch.
- They have a wider “gusset,” making the gaffs much more comfortable.
In addition to trying their Gaff, I also ordered a bralette that, while it is a basic design, fits better than any of my other ones… which should be less surprising than it was, considering it was made to my size.
Needless to say, the wait was hard, but now that I know they fit this well, I am immediately ordering more.
