It's literally all i want to do and i do not feel afraid. Just denied. Been cuffed and hospitalized for trying already and i told the docs the story of my life. Still nothing change. They told me they hate their lives too. We are all enslaved here. I said my suicidality is not part of my body. It exists in the rejection of me by the outside world, a violent world where everything i do or am is always stolen. That my life is so pointless, my death is not suicide.

The Supreme Court has ruled against a law banning “conversion therapy” for LGBTQ+ kids in Colorado, one of about two dozen states that banned the discredited practice. The high court majority sided Tuesday with a Christian counselor who argues the law banning talk therapy violates the First Amendment. The justices agreed the law raises free speech concerns and sent it back to a lower court to decide if it meets a legal standard few laws pass. President Donald Trump’s Republican administration supported the counselor. Colorado said the measure simply bars a practice of using therapy to try to “convert” LGBTQ+ people to heterosexuality, a practice that’s been scientifically discredited and linked to serious harm.

Educate yourself and encourage other cis people in your life to educate themselves on the political attacks around world right now on trans rights, stand up to any transphobia you witness, be loudly supportive around other cis people even when you aren't aware of any trans people being present, work to help local organizers create resources to help trans people in your community be as safe as possible, check in on your trans friends and family, do *something*.
We are fighting just to be able to legally and safely exist, and that is a battle we can’t and shouldn’t have to do fight alone. If you actually care about the trans people in your life you will step up and do whatever you can to help us.

Equality means many things, but mostly it means that people just want to live normal uninterrupted lives. Straight white guys can go about using 7 in one soap and not shaving and looking like they rolled out of bed in the 1990s and as long as they are clean people don't give a rat's patootie. This I wish for everyone.
I know the fuckers at the Guardian won’t care to cover it, because it doesn't involve a US state, but #India has tossed #TransRights in the bin.
