A little sad because the mount for my phone broke off, and I couldn't find my headlight this morning. But nothing that can't be easily fixed. I think the 20+yr old bike is feeling the mileage as much 40+yr old me! ๐Ÿ˜‚

I did another 28km today! starting to feel not as sore when I am done! Body is getting used to it. Took the flatter/longer route. Much more enjoyable physically and still a really good workout. Being nearer traffic isn't as nice as being in the trees most of the way but it's a tradeoff. Though I wonder what the difference in air quality/vehicle emissions I breath in is actually like. #bike #goByBikeBC #GBBBC #Nanaimo #VIU #commuting #riding

The ride back featured longer inclines so it was a little slower but I still made it in basically the same time as the morning ride when I took a wrong turn. My bum is a little sore and my legs will be sore tomorrow, but overall, not bad! The longest distance ride I've done for about 23 years!

And thanks to the EV for the first 68km it would also be the lowest CO2 commute I have had since I moved out of Nanaimo 20 years ago when I actually biked all the way to work.
