I'm still trying to figure out how to get a sfw furry #roleplay community established on https://tilemap.town/ - I still have no idea where people who would be interested in elaborate roleplaying with simple visuals might even be these days.
I'm specifically trying to establish something that emphasizes cuteness and magic and fantasy stuff, without heavy themes or anything dark.
Before people suggest events: I keep trying to check interest for those, and don't get a response.
Sometimes it's fun to be a sex doll specifically, where having someone stim with my rubber is kind of an inherent aspect of being played with that way, but it's also fun to play with that role specifically sometimes and be a lewd toy. I like being groped, I like having my holes stuffed, I like making someone feel good, when I'm treated respectfully.
I think it's often ok to have things in a lewd direction and play into this as long as people aren't being creepy about it and don't objectify me. No matter what, I always need to be treated like I'm a person in addition to whatever else I'm being. And you can ask if something is unclear, or reach out, or whatever.
I'm also not interested in playing out stuff where I turn someone else into a toy; that's nearly all anyone wants and it shifts the focus over from me onto someone else, and isn't fun.

I get a lot of euphoria from getting to be a rubber toy (I guess as a form of species euphoria?), and I approach it from a perspective that's more built around being autistic than it is anything horny, so I enjoy being treated as a stim toy. I like being felt over, having my rubber squish and squeak in someone else's paws, and having the properties of my material like the smoothness, shininess, elasticity and printed-on details being made prominent. A lot of my art is pooltoy-ish but I get more out of being solid rubber since it's more more suitable for stimming.
I'd like to meet people who want to play along with that and affirm it in teasing or roleplay or just regular affirmation stuff, like someone would for affirming someone's species. I don't think I'm looking to belong to a stranger, or be objectified, just be a cute stimmy rubber girl.

I really want to arrange some sort of recurring in-character meetup on Tilemap Town. It feels like for social stuff you really need to have something scheduled and remind people about it if you want people to attend, and maybe a coordinated effort to get enough people in one place would help actually reach a critical mass where a scene of some sort can happen instead of just two people idling.
But I don't know what I should do when I try to schedule stuff and get people to coordinate with me, and I just don't get responded to at all. Does anyone have advice for this sort of situation? If you just schedule something yourself and tell people about it, will they show up despite ignoring your original posts about wanting to schedule something?
I think in order to make #roleplay work the way I'd like it to (where other people also contribute their fair share to the story) I need to not be the only person who has ambitions for what they want their characters to do longterm or story themes they want to include.
But I have no idea if this is something that requires me to find different people, or if I can inspire people to give more elaborate storytelling a try? I think some people just need help figuring out their characters and giving them depth, but I'm not sure how much people are interested in the first place.
For myself I'm inspired by hearing all about other peoples' cool adventures and wanting to do similar stuff, but I've tried talking about the stuff I've managed to do so far and I don't think it's been especially inspiring? Not sure what I should try to do, except try to see if there's anything I can help people with.

There's often users on Tilemap Town but not very much actual roleplaying; does anyone know what I can do to encourage an atmosphere where there's more in-character stuff? Like I can try to somehow have more stuff happening in the world that people can react to and engage with (by creating events or otherwise) but I don't know that people would really engage with them very sincerely if I did. How can I encourage people to develop out their characters?

It's open source and has a documented protocol, and is designed around the idea of collaboratively designing 2D maps with other players. You can use custom graphics for map tiles, and custom player graphics (if you can make a 32x32 doodle of a character, you can play as them!)
I've been working on it since 2017 so the software has had a lot of time to mature, but I've had a hard time helping it find its audience. If anyone knows how to reach people interested in lighthearted SFW furry #roleplay I'd really like to know. I'm also hoping to specifically establish fantasy themes if possible!
