I finished this library table based on Norm Abram’s New Yankee Workshop S03E09 project. The plans I used were from Norm’s book Mostly Shaker.
Like Norm, I used cherry for the primary wood and poplar with 1/4 inch plywood for the drawer runners, interior supports, and drawer boxes. Four screws were use to secure the top to the frame and is the only hardware in the build. The finish is blonde shellac and a coat of wax applied with 0000 steel wool.
