It would have been fine(ish) if I could have just reversed the change, but they made it *between* my final edit and the proofs. Cue me fixing it 256 times by hand. Why am I even thinking about this right now? Back to work with me! (speaking of #freelancerlife...)

Just had a sudden memory of a client a few years back who search-and-replaced the word "et" with "and" throughout a huge document I'd edited cuz they thought it was French. So instead of "et al." for citations it said "and al." I was like... OMG IT'S LATIN and also *muffled cursing*. #freelancerlife
