(In this case, that is: I should do a thorough job on the running text and not touch the appendices, references or back matter at all. That way you get a fully cleaned-up text for your important people to read, and I fix all the fiddly technical bits at the end later.) #editing #freelancerlife

Don't you hate it as a #freelancer when you do a whole load of work for a company who pays your deposit and then ghosts about paying the balance? The sad thing is I am now going to have to pick up a whole lot of small quick and easy jobs to at least make some money until I get my next big contract.

So won't have time or finances to chase this.

I know it happens to every freelancer eventually.

Still sucks.
