Hi both! I am now working as a volunteer for #FreeUKGenealogy and one part of this is to improve the the accessibility of #FreeBMD, #FreeCEN, and #FreeREG. I'm working as part of a small team improving the materials we provide to our volunteers working in #UX #HTML and #CSS as part of their onboarding/ongoing support to enable them to make our websites as useful as possible.
One of the things I'm working on right now is adapting the #w3c #personas of people with #cognitive issues or #learningdisability so that they are helpful for those creating online resources for family history research https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-usable/
Love to chat with anyone working on anything similar (or interested in what we're doing at #FreeUKgenealogy)
