sheislaurence@farhanasultana bear in mind #Mastodon has literally just launched #freetext #search, so that if enabled on all instances and on individual accounts as well (expected majority behaviour, given it was the most requested feature), then #hashtags won’t be such an important feature of the #fediverse anymore, and look more like #exbirdsite
