A time/labor-intensive mossy scrumble for #WIPWednesday. Once the canvas surface is about covered, I'll double-crochet around the edges, stretch it over the frame, reduce stitch count, and hang.

Another finished project. Freeform crochet inspired by dragons - 7 large dragons eyes and a couple of nostrils in there and lots of patches of crocodile stitch. Now hiding my tatty but comfortable conservatory chair!

Diesesmal freeform, damit ich mich austoben kann.
Damit es schneller geht und ich möglichst viele Vorräte aufbrauchen kann, mit ner 8er Nadel und 3fach genommenem Garn.
Soll wieder eine Decke werden. Ich hab mal die bisher vorhandenen Teile nebeneinander hingelegt um abzuschätzen, wie groß das bisher in etwa ist.

Next stage completed. Top pattern cut out in old blue sheet with freeform crochet suns laid on top in oranges, reds and yellows. The rest will be filled with lacy freeform shapes shading gradually from almost black to sunset lilacs and peaches to a black silhouette landscape at the bottom.

Finished! The shawl inspired by the old churchyard in Stirling is done. No posh yarn in this one but lots of surface work. Ended up more cosplay than everyday! Thinking abstract gravestones, lichen, dying leaves, rowan berries, hips, bindweed, spiders' webs and snail shells. One for next Halloween! As ever, no pattern.

Start of a new project - batwing-sleeved top. The plan - 2 setting suns (a la Tattoine) in these glorious oranges, pinks and golds on the front and waxing, waning and full moons on the back (maiden, mother, crone) in greys, black and blues. All DK or 4-ply, merino mix or BFL, most hand dyed by independents.

WIP freeform crochet shawl, now nearly 6ft wide. Inspired by an autumn visit to Stirling and the Old Town Cemetery. To think it started off with that small Australia-shaped bit just before Christmas! Lots of surface work to do and length to add. No very expensive yarns in this one, but there will be some novelty ones in the surface work.
