Yes, this is a drought year. Not only has it provided #FlashFloods, but also given rise to a new phenomenon, #FlashDroughts 1). A couple of days ago, someone wrote that there had been 8 major incidents in just 11 days.
Hongkong suffered the worst rain falls in more than a century and Thessaly, a north-eastern region of Greece, had to declare an emergency after almost two feet of rain fell within a very short time.
I know you need the rain, so I'm sending some moderate 🌧 ⛅️...
