The letter was sent. In eleven days was the deadline. Still enough time. Excitement rose within her body, and mind. It was tempting to ponder about the outcome. But she breathed deeply, until the wave had washed over her. Best to let go.
You cannot stop to add new wounds where I bear scar after scar.
Let the impact hit one last time. Taste the blood. Experience it fully. Then shut the door.
The scars will heal. But we are friends no more.
At the crowded nightclub, I get pushed and stumble into the guy behind me.
He is a famous rock guitarist who now is hitting on me. When my friend pulls him close to kiss him, he shuts up.
She is not even a fan. Dang! - Oh, but he is a celebrity.
She was always waiting for something.
She was waiting for things to get better, waiting for the pain to stop, waiting for the sun.
Days came, and days went, with her still waiting.
She did not realise she was waiting away her life.
Days were dark, winds were cold, and life was lonely.
Yet, she kept looking for the hidden treasure, the pearl. Awesomeness can be found everywhere, if one knows how to look.
Only, on some days, like today, all she could find was flaws.
