Public posts mean that anyone can see and interact with your posts if they're on a connected social platform such as Bluesky, Mastodon, or Threads. This network is known as the Social Web ๐

One important thing... There is no algorithm here, so your feed will not automatically fill up with stuff the billionaires want you to see.
In fact, it will be kind of dead, until you jump start it by Following people. Make an effort to Follow at least fifty people and you will be amazed.

We are a small, but mighty team trying to take on the billionaires by bringing social back to what it should be. A place to communicate and highlight the work you are doing.
We are doing this with barely any funding. Mostly just our team handling many projects at once.

Why this is important: For public social media to realize it's potential as a counterbalance to corporate social media we need to provide an effective means of assimilating other communities who choose to set up shop here.
