This interesting article dropped into my timeline this morning (I opened a tab but cannot remember who found it first, sorry). The story talks about women in South Africa and other more traditional countries, but I don't think women in the "west" have this much different experiences if they are the ones who earn more money in the marriage.
Interesting: in SA #financialAbuse is "legally classified as economic abuse under the Domestic Violence Act."
