Just wondering if any radio hams have bought ferrites from Ali Excess, the sort Im looking at are for common mode chokes and ununs
Added chapters in #Ferrite with chapter art, but none of it seems to have made it to any podcast player …. Can’t work out if it’s a Squarespace thing or something else. Any easy way to debug an mp3 file and embedded data?!
First podcast edited using @wooji’s #Ferrite today. Screwed something up so it turned in to a mammoth manual task, but once I’ve got the hang of it, it’ll be a lot simpler/quicker!
Thanks to @stephenrobles for pushing me over the edge to use it and to @jsbilsbrough for the great tutorial!
Goodbye Logic Pro! 👋🏻
Now to see if I can do EVERYTHING via the #iPad by using the #Squarespace app for the first time! 😁

While you don’t need it a lot, using the audio track/timeline to tweak and make changes can be super fiddly.
Because of the choppiness of the audio, I certainly can’t export that and use it for my normal podcast, so need to edit the raw audio in #Ferrite tomorrow.
After spending 90 mins editing the video (mainly chapters, correcting transcription, cutting a few bits out), the output is “ok”. Going forward for the time being I don’t think I’ll bother doing videos.
@stephenrobles @jsbilsbrough the ProMotion would be nice, but not essential. And, weirdly enough, the thing that bothered me most was the TouchID … but that’s certainly not the end of the world.
Thanks to James’ great overview earlier, #Ferrite worked great (and quicker than I expected) on my 4th gen, so an M2 would make it fly!
And, Stephen, keep up the great work with all the videos and podcast - really enjoying all the content at the moment!
