I miss the #FediTimeline

Those #Twitter people broke it by overloading the #Fediverse and making my computer go slomo.

I used to like watching the nude photos whizz past.

I forgot how much I like wading through the #FediTimeline

Some weird shit on there.

Tales from the #FediTimeline ...

... where I came across a youtube video that did not work and subsequently I found was no longer available. Next, I stopped briefly to read one person's endorsement of the word 'nice'.

I will continue my quest, further, deeper into the belly of the fediverse ...

Two things that have slowed my #Mastodon growth since the whole #Twitter #Elon thing:

1. Loads of popular ex-Twitter accounts hogging all the attention and generally being more interesting than me. I think #hashtags you use tend to get more drowned out now by more people using the same ones.

2. I no longer use #AdvancedMode all the time because of all the extra users have made things go a bit slowmo. So I don't see random stuff on the #FediTimeline much anymore

Ya'll. I *love* that there are no ads. After the ruination of IG, FB, and #BirdTown (ads and terrible algos) just seeing chronological posts from actual humans is a balm on my soul.
