The latest version of #Mastodon improved the #FeaturedHashtags feature, and added the #FeaturedProfiles section to our profiles.

I don't feel like it's getting enough attention; there are few people using it.

So here are my #features, show me yours!!

You must be viewing the page as an unauthenticated user

You must be viewing the page on a larger screen or in landscape view.

Even then, if you don’t have your browser window stretched out past 1180px width - it is hidden.

Even if you get this far, if you have the advanced web interface enabled, it doesn’t show.

Unless you use #IceCubesApp or #Phanpy where they just show up between your profile data and the list of your posts. On any server even if you're logged into it!

Clicking one filters the list of posts to just the ones with that tab.

I do not really like to request improvements concerning FOSS software, as I am not a developer and I am not contributing code: rather I feel that I should just be grateful for what I am getting. Anyway I am going to break my rules for once.

One has 10 featured hashtags on mastodon and I was heavily relying on them. In the latest versions of the software the hashtags that are being made visible are just three and I would really appreciate getting all of them back.

I'm so confused! There's a place in my bio to set "featured hashtags" and the docs say "Once featured, a link to the hashtag will be shown on your profile, with the date of the last time it was used in a status, as well as the total number of statuses in which it was used."

But WHERE on my profile? I can't find a profile view in the web interface that shows these links. Can somebody share a screenshot? Am I just blind?
